GORE HEALTH CENTRE

Our GP Practice, Gore Health Centre, opened in October 2009 and is located within the Gore Hospital building.  We have around 3500 patients enrolled and currently three GP's working in the practice. We are happy to take on new patients as well as casual patients who may be visiting our area. 

If you would like to enrol with us (this involves filling out an enrolment form) you will be eligible for: 

• Reduced consultation fees
• Cheaper prescription charges                           
• Free annual diabetic checks
• Free telephone advice from our qualified Practice Nurses
• Assistance with obtaining government funded Mammogram Screening
• Diabetic education and dietary advice, access to podiatry services and services and diabetic eye screening
• Care Plus - free addditional nursing care for certain chronic diseases
• All enrolled patients (who have given consent) will benefit from our recall systems.  When you have a procedure done or are due to be checked we will send you a letter reminding you. These recalls include cervical smears, mammograms, immunisations, routine health checks, screening including cholesterol, heart disease, diabetes.
