Gore Hospital has a modern, comfortable primary maternity unit, comprising of birthing room, lounge and two twin bedrooms both with ensuite. We have self employed Independent Midwives operating within the unit who are supported by our team of Gore Health Registered and Enrolled Nurses. We have around 80-100 births a year in our maternity unit. Our maternity service has attained "BFHI" accreditation which actively promotes and supports exclusive breasfeeding from birth. Visiting hours are between 2pm and 8pm but are flexible for family members. We ask that visitors respect these times for mother and bably to rest.
