Peter Goodger

Born and raised on a farm in Waimumu before moving into Gore, Peter has over 40 years' experience running a building construction and architectural design business with his wife Karen. Peter enjoys being an active participant in the community and has over the years been involved in a number of local committees and boards recently including the Gore Health INC. Peter thrives on bringing a strategic lens to organisations, drawing on his governance experience, and has a strong belief that no matter the circumstance, clear and open communication drives effective decision making and leadership. 

Peter enjoys spending time with his wife Karen, family, and grandchildren, as well as keeping fit walking and the ocasional stint of fly fishing.
