Meals on Wheels
Nutritious meals, prepared with care and delivered with compassion.
Gore Health's Meals on Wheels service helps people maintain their health and independence by providing nutritious, ready-to-eat meals delivered directly to their home. Working alongside healthcare professionals and caregivers, we support those who may find preparing meals difficult due to illness, injury or reduced mobility.
Meals are prepared by Southern Kai in Invercargill and delivered throughout our community by dedicated volunteers.

How It Works
To receive Meals on Wheels, you'll need a referral from your General Practitioner or another healthcare professional.
A Gore Health District Nurse will complete an assessment to determine your eligibility and discuss your individual dietary requirements and the number of meals that best meets your needs.
