Glenys Dickson

Director

Glenys is a local, raised on a farm in Waimumu. Her background is quite varied; she has worked in an accountant's office, owned a business and was the Electorate Secretary for Bill English when he was MP for Clutha Southland. Glenys was appointed to the GHL Board as a Director in 2015 and is concurrently a Gore District Councillor, Chair of the Southern REAP Board and the Forest Hill Foundation Trust, a Board member of the Waiau Fisheries and Wildlife Habitat Enhancement Trust and the Pacific Development Trust. 

Glenys has a very strong interest in her community and their wellbeing, especially when it comes to health.

Glenys has three grown children, a son in Gore, a daughter in Cairns and another son in Canada. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, politics, conservation and gardening when she has some free time.
