Michelle completed her nursing education in Whangarei then went to work at Auckland City Hospital. She has 20 years experience in Emergency Medicine at Middlemore Hospital and 3+ years at Oamaru Hospital. Has moved home to Dunedin for family where she has a lovely home in Waitati and commutes to work at Gore Health. Michelle is a member of the New Zealand Medical Assistance Team and has been deployed 5 times over the years to Pacific countries after a natural disaster has occurred.
